Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Tetelo is a personal finance planning tool operated by Hashbeen, based in British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using Tetelo, you agree to these terms.

1. What Tetelo is — and isn't

Tetelo helps you track accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring bills, and debt payoff plans that you enter yourself. It is a planning and organization tool, not a bank, financial institution, or licensed financial advisor. Nothing in Tetelo — including budget suggestions, debt payoff projections, achievement badges, or the Insights page's financial health ratios, spending recaps, and net worth trends — is professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You're responsible for your own financial decisions.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tetelo. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. The data you enter is only as accurate as what you put in — Tetelo can't verify your real bank balances or transactions on its own.

3. Your data

The financial information you enter belongs to you. You can export a full copy of your data at any time from the Profile page, and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the same page. See our Privacy Policy for details on what's collected and how it's used.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Tetelo to store or process data you don't have the right to, attempt to access another user's data, interfere with the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

5. Service availability

Tetelo is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We aim to keep it available and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss, or errors in calculations or projections. Regular backups (via the Profile page) are your safety net — please use them.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as Tetelo evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Meaningful changes will be noted here with an updated date.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
